Jennifer paints the human form because she likes the challenge it represents. There's a technical challenge as well as a creative one, she must paint to be representative but she also must paint to show emotion and soul. This series "Adornments" is a combination of delicate femininity and powerful mood. Each figurative painting has a smaller piece of art (the jewelry) within it, the show within the show. She has painted several figurative series in the past with her focus always being on the female form and this series is yet another expression of her continued journey.
